The following "Way Forward" members have been elected to the board of the English Chess Federation

- Robert Richmond - Finance director
- Peter Sowray - International director.
While we are disappointed that Brian Driscoll and Nigel Short were not elected. The entire team would like to thank all those many hundreds of chess players and officials who have contributed to this result. Thank you all.
